1 month old and growing like a weed! We are having so much fun with you and are so glad you joined our family. Your Grandpa King gave your Daddy a blessing the night before you were born and in the blessing he said that you were meant for our family. Then when your Daddy gave you your first blessing when you were sick he said the same thing, that you were meant specifically for our family. I absolutely believe that is true! I can't imagine you being anywhere else but in our arms!
Some things about you at 1 month old:
-
Still in preemie clothes! I tried putting you in 0-3 month clothes the other day and you were absolutely SWIMMING in them. Then I tried putting you in some newborn size clothes, which were better but still too loose for safety. So I guess we'll stay in preemie clothes for just a bit longer!

You are definitely developing your little personality, becoming more active.
-
You have started cooing! Especially in the mornings, the first time you wake up for keepers and have eaten and have a clean diaper. I'll bring you downstairs and you'll just coo and gurgle and look so happy.
-
You still sleep great - most of the time. You do wake up every couple hours to eat, but then you go right back to sleep after. There have only been a couple nights so far that you have given your parents grief and haven't wanted to go to sleep.
-
You LOVE the changing table, for some strange reason. No matter how upset you are, if I put you on the changing table for a diaper change, you'll quiet right down or even seem happy. It's the weirdest thing.
-
You adore tv. It's a very bad habit that your dad thinks is funny. If one of us ever turns on the tv and you happen to catch a glimpse of it, you are riveted. There have been a couple times when you have been very upset and wailing at the top of your lungs, and out of frustration one of us will turn on the tv as a distraction for ourselves and it will quiet you down instead. Not sure what to make of this.
-
Speaking of your lungpower: you have some now! Instead of the quiet, pitiful little wails of your first few weeks, you can now make it known when you are downright MAD. Thankfully, so far it's never been so bad that at the worst some extra milk couldn't quiet down.
-
Your first blowout was this past week. Kudos.
-
Your nose is finally big enough to use the booger-sucker! (aka nasal aspirator) Until now your nostrils have been too tiny for even the smallest aspirator size that the hospital had. So now we can help you out a little bit when you're stuffy, although it makes you furious.
-
You're losing your hair - you're pretty bald across the front half of your scalp.
-
You seem to like "The Wheels on the Bus" - that song seems to be the most successful in catching your attention or calming you down.
